Illuminated Sephardic Haggadah

Designed, painted and handwritten by Artist Benjamin Hassan, The Illuminations in the Sephardic Haggadah are warm and inviting, inspired by decorative details from synagogues worldwide, and these details are enhanced with accents from nature, flowers, birds and butterflies. Each illumination is painted in watercolor, in rich, vibrant tones. The Haggadah even comes complete with King Solomon's Shir HaShirim (Song of Songs) hand written at the end. The overall feel of the design and layout is clean and crisp. The illuminations are not cluttered and overdone, so the text is clear and easily legible.
The Hebrew pages are printed side by side with an English translation complete with lucid English instructions by R' Jonathan Cohen from London, UK. The English body text is typefaced in "Myriad" for it's superb clarity and legibility, and these pages are designed to complement their Hebrew counterparts.
This Haggadah is printed as a Limited Edition of 613 copies, each numbered and signed by the artist. They were printed using only the finest quality materials and inks. The paper chosen is heavy, bright white, and 100% Acid Free and was selected for its exceptional archival qualities. The printing plates were destroyed after the run, in order to ensure the value of each Haggadah.
The Haggadah is Smythe sewn and hand bound in an elegant hand made genuine leather cover, luxurious with it's embossed design and title.
